The Cursed Night

You do not feel comfortable at the idea of sleeping in your feline form, and so, you clearly say that to Murray:
"What happens if I don't know how to wake up? Or if I lose my mind and my body starts to wander somnambule. No, not kidding, I'm not going to sleep like a beast."

Murray considers you paranoid, you can feel his grumpy emotions inside your head. But he dares not reply.

The cave is well protected from the elements, but at this time of winter, the bare rock is cold as ice. You snuggle as much as you can into the stinky furs, trying to get warm and sleep for a few hours until dawn, in this old abandoned burrow

You don't hear the snake's soft hiss until it's too late, the snake bites you in the neck before you could even react. You grab a rock and smash it with fury several times, but you know that it is too late.

The agony became indescribable, feeling like your body becomes inflamed and inflamed by turning you into a ball of pure fire and pustules. Until your mind went out like a vanishing wildfire at dawn.
