The Secret Triwizard Challenge
You cast Stupefy, which knocks the spider unconscious. It stops running, but it momentum keeps its body moving. The spider slams into you and drags you down with it. The spiderwebs around your ankle hold just long enough for the force to break your leg, and you scream. The spider lies on top of you, unable to eat you because it is stunned, but you can't get out from under it. Any movement of your broken leg makes it burn, and you can't reach your wand, so you can't levitate the spider off yourself.
The spider starts to stir.
The monitors on brooms sense your panic, and they swoop down. They cast Wingardium Leviosa to hoist the spider off of you, then carry you into the air and out of the maze. One casts Episkey on your leg, and you feel a sharp, burning pain as your bone mends. You also feel the hurt of your pride because guess what? You lost the race!
YOU LOSE!
