Pretty much.
One last thing I will mention, also in the "Contact?" Index section, is that I'll be using the Chars31 darkmyst chat format on the actual site as a contact hub for the first little while.
What does this mean? Well, so far this week, I've went to Charmander 31's Chat room, and logged in as a room administrator known as "TheGuardian" and awaited to see what exactly(if any?) kind of traffic the site actively exhibits on a regular basis. So far I have been logged in for my entire 8 hour shifts, every day for a week, monitoring for activity, and NOTHING has happened. No visitors, no log ins. Nothing but me. For an entire week. This is how dead and baron this domain is, and I simply don't want it to fade out.
It's actually eerie...I can keep the tab open all day, and from a nostalgic persons standpoint, it's Shangri-La! And yet nothing. The only thing I can await there, is one of the 200+ users I've read about who posted, or happened to feel nostalgic or reminiscent on a certain day to swing by at that exact moment, and give them the news, that I'm the only one left. I've essentially taken on the role of Red Skull, guarding the Soul Stone on the planet Vormir. "Cursed to guard a treasure, I once sought, and found, but can never obtain, myself. Instead, only guiding others in it's pursuit, for eternity."
Which, you know what? I'm Okay with that. I fully intend to log in, each day, every day I'm at work, while I still work where this is permissible. And I will continue to guide and inform travellers of site's history, current state, and potential future, for those who wonder.
That's what I want to branch out upon, as well, so I'm not confined only to the place I once sought. But that I may one day be free, and spread this info abroad, for those who seek it. I check it at least 20-30 times daily during my shifts, mostly Monday-Friday between 11AM and 8PM. Not a soul as of yet, but I'm hopeful. And I will do my best to continue to visit the site, serving as something of an "Information Booth" for the next nostalgic soul, that I once was. If this happens to be you, I say THANK YOU for not forgetting about us, and helping keep this silly dream alive, if even for just a few years more into this unknown future.
