Killing Gandhi

You stand there just waiting for something to happen, but to your amazement nothing happens for a while. Sadly, this blissful moment didn't last. You wait there standing, starting at the man. He looks intently at Gandhi, and starts to raise the gun a little bit higher. He takes aim, but you for some reason still don't move. You think that he might stop, or maybe it's that Gandhi said that if something were to happen, so be it. Any way, you just stand there watching the events unfold. You watch him fire off the gun, and even then you don't move. At this point you are in shock from what had just happened. You didn't expect him to really do it. You see the bullet hit Gandhi, he is for sure dead. History has repeated itself. You failed your life's purpose.
