Killing Gandhi

You watch as the man's eyes focus in on Gandhi. You hurry to get over to his area, and while doing so, you see the man take a quick look at you. He goes to try to fire the bullet quicker. You also pick up the pace, it is a race between you two. You jump as you near Gandhi, and you see the world as if time has stopped. You continue to fly past Gandhi's body as the bullet nears. You wait for what seams like an eternity for the bullet to pass. You see the bullet now as if it was an inch away. Finally you feel the agonizing pain of a bullet enter your leg. You feel a wave of relief rush over your body. You have saved your idol's life, while at the same time not losing yours. You have fully succeeded in everything you have done.
