You notice that the cartridge will only work when you apply pressure with your finger down on it, so that the chip can connect to the sensor.
As you don't wear one, you ask Josh for his belt.
Josh: "Easy there, Casanova.... not gonna buy me dinner first? hahaha..."
You indicate his belt that is already sitting on the bedroom dresser.
Josh: "That's my trucker belt...you best not scratch it up just to play a damn vidya game...."
You wedge the belt buckle in between the cartridge and the roof of the NES and use the strap to fasten it in place.
You hear the familiar Tetris theme song and instinctively grab the controller to obtain a new high score that will probably just be erased a week later, or forgotten about as soon as they switch to Duck Hunt.
