The class room is silent, tension made the air thick and heavy, suffocating. The teacher, Ms.Brook, opens the classroom door and pokes her head in, "Rei, could you come with me please?"
My shoulders relax, grateful it wasn't me or anyone I was friends with. I look to Rei.
Suprisingly, Rei looks calm. Silently, she stands from her desk.
Cindy clutches my arm, "Thank go-"
"Samantha? You too."
Cindy's grip tightens and my head snaps up, "Me?"
Ms.Brooks smiles apologetically and nods.
