Lost in space

You decide to keep going. You drop the sword and keep heading down the steps. You start to count the steps out or boredom. Finally for what feels like twenty miles you reach a flat area. You think once again, “I made it,” but once again you are wrong the walls shot up again and block you way back up. You wait for the sword to fall, but it doesn’t this time three hungry lions come out of the hole. You look up and see the sword. It is stuck up on top of the wall. You are defenseless against the lions unless you get that sword. You try to climb the wall no use. You realize you have two options try to wait for one of the lions to charge and use the lion as a boost up to the sword. Or die. One of the lions charge. You go with the second option. “I’m not dying yet,” you think to yourself. The lion that charged was a big lion with giant leg muscles. You decide to jump as the lion reaches you then jump on the lions back. The lion gets closer and closer. Finally he is a couple feet away. You jump. Perfect timing. You jump again and grab the sword just like old times in zero G. As you fall down you hit the ground with a thud and a snap. You leg has broken. You are done for. You wave your sword with no accuracy and hit nothing then you feel teeth and claws sink into you skin. Your last sight before death was a lions throat.
