Extend the Story - Add a Room

Uncle Ren clears his throat. "Just a few hours, he waited until you fell asleep." I thought about last night; when we left and grabbed food and such. It was scary. Dad wouldn't answer my questions, he just kept talking on the phone with someone. I think it was Uncle Ren, but I didn't know what to do. I was worried, especially when Uncle Ren came and pick us up, with his car already holding some bags of food and cloths that looked like his. You try to ask for food but the faint sound of a siren grows. You look out the back window. A black is approaching with bright flashing lights.

Say nothing, you become nervous.
