One Way Out
You ran up to John, "hey John! Did you kill Brandon?"
He turned around and gave you a deadly smile. He was holding an axe that looked a lot like the one that Emma carried. Did he take it from her? Did he kill her? "We're good, right?" you asked cautiously.
"I'm sorry, we aren't." He said and barreled towards you with the axe. You dodged it and felt the axe graze your shoulder. It hurt worse than you'd ever imagined. Why did it hurt so bad?
"Just give up," he said and swung again. You dodged and this time obtained no injuries. "It's very heavy," he said conversationally and swung again. This time, you weren't so lucky. He hit you square in the shoulder and you could see your own flesh when John pulled it out. You had to steady yourself and that cost you precious moments as John swung again. You didn't have enough time to dodge.
