The Weekend of a Competitive Dancer
You decide to withdraw your jazz dance from the competition. "What's the point of competing in your lounge clothes?", you think to yourself.
Now all you have tonight is your lyrical solo. At least you have a chance with that dance. However, once you tell the competition you want to withdraw you jazz solo, they become crazy in their thinking. You are informed rudely that "If you withdraw one solo, you have to withdraw the other dance too. That is just how our competition is. Like it or not, I don't care, but don't even try to do your other solo if you are not doing both. Bye, hope you have a great rest of your day."
Sadly, that means you are not competing both your solos now, and that is the end of your Friday night.
