One Way Out
She nodded. "First thing's first. We need to actually get out of the building. Doors are our only way out, unless you can walk through walls," Angeline started laughing awkwardly.
"What?" you looked at her suspiciously.
"Nothing. Amelia's found this door here that isn't double locked like the others. Normally the doors are locked on the inside door and the outside, you know?"
"Not really..."
She gives you a strange look, "So do you have anything that might work? Any mad lock-picking skills? This lock is kind of hard to pick. My makeshift picks keep breaking because this stupid lock is so old and rusty."
You looked inside your backpack. There was nothing in it except for packages of food. You checked all the pockets.
"Nothing, eh?" she remarked. You checked the pockets again. Out of nowhere, you felt like someone had just stabbed you in the back of your neck. You realized that Angeline had indeed stabbed you in the back of your neck. With a small exacto knife. It was kind of pathetic but really painful at the same time.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I just stab you?" Angeline said in her god-forsaken anime voice, "Well if you don't have anything to help me, I don't see why I have to help you."
You tried to get up but you felt another stab in the lower back. Your muscles gave out on you and you couldn't move your legs. "Acupuncture, it works!" Angeline exclaims in surprise, "try to get up."
You couldn't move your legs. You dragged yourself up to a sitting position with your hands. Angeline and Amelia laughed at your attempts.
"Amelia, keep an eye on this one. I'm getting some Toffee-tastics," Angeline read the box. "What do you want?"
"Thin Mints!" she exclaims as Angeline rummages through your backpack for them. She walked to Amelia and looked over you.
"I feel like you should be some sort of sacrifice for John," she chuckled at the idea. She then dragged you out to A Hall and Amelia drew a pentagon for you to sit on.
"Be nice, wouldn't you?" Angeline and Amelia left. As soon as they left, John appeared out of nowhere, it was like he had phased through the wall.
"What happened?" he said nonchalantly.
"Angeline broke my leg," you replied.
"Hmm... and where is she?" he asked you.
"Down at the end of B hall," you pointed in her direction.
"Cool, thanks," he said and left you.
"Um, are you going to help me?" you said before he left.
"Yeah sure," he walked over to you and held out his hand. You grabbed it and felt your body be flinged by John and hit the wall.
"A cripple's useless," he said and he then got out a bloodied steak knife and you watched helplessly as it came flying at your eye.
