'Till Death Do Us Part

You shoot the officer, and you hear sirens outside almost instantaneously. You flee the scene of the crime and live your life on the run for many years; each month, a different name, home, and life. You don't even know who you are anymore. It becomes very difficult to settle in one place, get a job, and have a normal life, as you've had to adjust and adapt to a new circumstance for what seems like hundreds of times. You realize you'll never have this back and turn yourself in to the police. This is a long time victory for them, as you've killed many of their coworkers, and you're sentenced to two life sentences in prison. You die a peaceful death in prison decades after that.
