The Wild, Wild West
You knew you could not escape in time. You decided the best option was to hide. There was a boulder over by the lake that would be the perfect spot to hide. It was a few yards away, and the cowboys were only getting closer. You slung yourself onto your horse and kicked him as hard as you could. He started sprinting toward the lake. You looked back over your shoulder to see how far behind the cowboys were. Fortunately, they hadn’t made the turn yet, so they couldn’t see you. You knew you didn’t have much more time. You jumped off your horse and pulled him behind the massive rock. It was barely big enough to hide both of you. The cowboys appeared all of a sudden. You felt breathless as you were flooded with adrenaline. You watched as they passed the rock. You had to hold back a sigh of relief. You were safe at last.
