A Kid in a Candy Store

You ignore the young girl, she keeps crying. You quickly walk past her, hoping nobody notices. You trip on a small, sharp rock. You bust your nose open, and blood goes everywhere.The young girl runs around the corner, to see if you are okay. You sit up and say' "Thank you" . She asks you for assistance with her dog. You tell her that you will help her look, while she's not looking, you sprint home. Your favorite show is on in 2 minutes. She whips around, you feel her sad eyes on the back of your head. The girl starts walking away, you feel bad. It is too late, you run into the house and turn on the news. It shows the picture of a run over dog, you feel your heart sink. For the rest of the night all you can think about, is that poor girl and her dog.
