Family or Friends

You begin searching for something you can use as a weapon, and then you see it, someone’s abandoned cane. You grab the cane and begin walking down the hallway that has nobody in it. You swing the cane around a little to get a feel for it, when you hear yet another scream. You quickly take off your heels, and start walking toward the sound. You reach the door at the end of the hall. You stand there a minute wondering what you should do next when a man in a red bow tie and red mask opens the door holding a knife dripping in blood. You immediately swing the cane hard against his head causing him to fall backwards. You swing again and this time you knock him unconscious. You pull out your phone and clumsily dial 911 with your shaking heads. You tell the operator everything that has happened. Ten minutes later the place is swarming with police and the unconscious murderer is being arrested. The chief police officer walks up to you, and congratulates you on catching the murderer.
He tells you, “In the next week I expect you will be receiving a call from her majesty. Good work today, miss.”
