Describing Scott Hall Road as a "highway" is a bit of an exaggeration. The speed limit is 40 mph, and it is generally too clogged up with traffic at this time in the morning for anyone to go even that speed. You laugh at the man, thinking that he hasn't planned this too brilliantly.

Suddenly the man pulls a gun from his coat and points it at the bus driver.

"Take this bus to the M621" he commands. "And then make sure you get up to at least 55."
