One Way Out
You grabbed a bow and stuffed a quiver with as many arrows as you could manage. Happy with your weapon, you opened the door to leave, but in front of you was a grinning John. You felt your eyes lock onto his, and for a moment, calm descended over you. John's eyes weren't human anymore. The pupil of one eye was dilating and the black was unnaturally big.
The moment passed and you stepped back. Remembering your newfound weapon, you grabbed an arrow and nocked the arrow. You let go of the string. As soon as you shot the arrow, John instantly dodged and acted like nothing happened. "Oh we could've been friends if you didn't do that," John said menacingly and leaped at you. You hurriedly shot another arrow and watched John dodge it effortlessly.
"What, how?" you stuttered as John knocked the bow out of your hands.
"I'm merely one hell of a classmate."
