Extend the Story - Add a Room

You slowly open the door, and and are greeted with an empty room except for a stick with fire in the centre. The possibility of zombies being able to create as much thought into creating a light source is very little, so you keep walking through what seems to be the living room.

It comes to you that this could easily be a trap. Why would somebody leave an unattended fire in such a large house like this? But it's also possible that it's a security measurement, as zombies are afraid of fire, and so the light would bring them closer, but the lack of people would draw them away.

No matter what, it's absolutely terrifying to you, and you begin to wonder how you haven't died of fear yet. Not trying to give it too much thought, you decide to move on.
