Extend the Story - Add a Room

Determined to be more "hands on", you head down to the research centre and begin to dialogue with the workers.
"Ah, professor Smith..."
"Williams.."
"Yes, this would be the, um, new thing we're working on, wouldn't it?"
"Oh my god!" screams the white coated man, "Don't touch that!"
You look at the bank of dials you'd been fiddling with in an attempt to look knowledgable.
WOOP WOOP WOOP! Suddenly the lights go red and ear splitting alarms fill the air. A female recorded voice says,"Warning: system failure. Core breach in T minus three minutes."
The equipment is shaking crazily and fires have begun to break out.
The scientists all stare at you in abject terror. "Oh, sweet Jesus! We're all going to die!" yells Williams as he turns and runs for the exit.
