If I Were To Love
You walk to the restaurant with 5 minutes to spare. You see her coming out of the back door, locking it behind her. You walk up to her, as you approach she sees you and looks nervous. You stop in front of her. She looks at you, tears in her eyes again. "I am so sorry, but I can't forgive you. You caused me so much pain, and I can't make myself forgive you." You walk away before you see her reaction, but you can hear sobs from behind you.
A month later your sister texts you at work. "CALL ME" the text reads. At your break you call her, she sounds sad, mad, and a little disappointed. "Your high school bully, the one you didn't forgive, took her... she took her life last night. Apparently the pain was too much for her." You are stunned. You never meant for her to take her life, you can't help but feel responsible. If you forgave her, she wouldn't have taken her life. You fall to the ground, you should've chose to follow God, to choose what he would've done. Only if you could go back and redo it.
