Extend the Story - Add a Room

You step into portal 7. The portal whirls around your body with a blue glow, and you are suddenly filled with dread. You try to exit the portal but it is too late.

With a flash of especially bright blue light, you find yourself in the center of a bustling city. Crowds of people move around you like a river. No one seems to be shocked by your sudden appearance. In fact, most people either don't acknowledge your existence or seem annoyed that you're blocking the sidewalk. Snowflakes drift down from the sky. Goosebumps form on your skin, and you shiver. You're really not dressed for the weather. It looks like you're standing in front of a thrift store, but you don't have any money.

Your ears are ringing.

A few meters to your left is a young man who is also standing still. He's dressed in a t-shirt and shorts. His silvery-blond curls bounce around as he looks around with wide eyes. Perhaps he is in the same situation as you.
