LOTR

The group decides to retreat to the marshes, hoping to use the carnivorous land to their advantage. They successfully reach the marshes before the Black Riders catch up with them. The group can feel the Black Riders get closer and closer. They wait in the stinking marshes, completely still despite the bugs eating them alive. They strike when they hear the scream of the Nazgul in front of them. They slash and stab at the darkness, managing to push one Ringwraith into the marshes, watching as the Earth slowly engulfs it. The fury of the hobbits and Strider seems to scare off the Ringwraiths, if only for a little while to regroup. The hobbits and Strider use this opportunity to quickly set off again for Rivendell.
