Notice Me Elf-Pai!
The "something giant and evil lurking in the pond" is a tired cliche, the product of children's nightmares, not to be found in reality... right?
Nag walks through the water, holding her axe above her head to avoid getting it wet. As she moves forward, she sinks deeper and deeper into the pond, until finally around the mid way point, the floor of the pond suddenly dissapears and she's forced to swim.
Suddenly, Nag feels something large and slimy grab a hold of her leg, shocking her so bad that she drops the axe, which sinks below. She struggles and tries to get free, but it's useless; whatever has her in its possession is far stronger than any Orc.
She screams in terror (or at least, tries to) as she is dragged flailing into the inky darkness of the pond.
