Signs of the Infected

You run to your father's side. He needs you now more than you leaving to get supplies. You are the one that injured him after all.
"Dad, I'm sorry..." You sob as you reach down and pull the arrow out of his leg.
The bleeding doesn't stop. You try to help him, but he is bleeding out fast. You hit an artery.
"It's gonna be okay sweetheart," He whispers as you hold him in your arms.

Soon your father dies. You never leave for supplies. And eventually everyone starves.
