Not even taking time to consider the odds of winning, you are over the top excited and also kind of expecting to win. The school wide assembly goes by smoothly as planned by the student council and at the end there is the heavily anticipated winner announcement. You cross your fingers and pray in your head that you'll win the award...and the award goes to...Alyssa, the tall basketball player of stuco. You try to hide your disappointment with a smile and congratulate her. Sadly, life doesn't always work out in the way you want it to.
