The Hunting
No causation for alarm you think. You turn off your movie and decide to go to sleep.
Later in the night you are awakened by heavy breathing and footsteps following. You jump up to see who it is, hoping it's just your roommate.
Instead you see a man, a stranger.... annnnd no roommate to accompany him.
He holds up his small gun, smiles devilishly, and you manage to do nothing but shriek and pass out.
You do not wake up...... I wonder why...
