The Stairwell

You decided to investigate the substance.
You peer into it, and realize that there is a drop of red by your feet.
Then, to your horror, you realize it is your blood!
More drips appear.
Blood starts to leak from your mouth, nose, and ears.
You fall to the floor, and black out.
You have died.
