Your bonds come undone, you look around and you see three receding figures.

You have now caught the criminals, you take out three handcuffs and snap them around their wrists. You drive them to the police station and put them in jail. You hear them muttering now we can't go to West Berlin and you grin.
Once you get out of the police station there's a band of media shouting at you, it seems that now you're the latest public celebrity, everyone's nice to you, even your sly and cunning neighbour is nice to you.
The next day you go to the police station and there waiting for you is the president! He has decided to promote you to Chief of Police because of your fame.
