The Fairground
[LET GO OF THE ARM REST]
My fingers dragged downwards halfway down the leather armrest. I couldn’t see clearly because the tears in my eyes made my vision blurry. I thought about Eric, and all the memories I had of him, looking down in the space at the lifeless bodies laid on the ground. Why were they doing this?! Why did they kill my friend?! And why is everyone dead?! My questions did not calm me down. I grunted, tried to pull my legs up but it was no use. I was going to fall to my death, just like everyone else who rode the roller coaster. I wiped the tears from my eyes onto the right shoulder of my sleeve. I figured it was no use, and i let out a short breath as I let go of the armrest. “AHHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD!!!---AAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” were my last words, as my body came spiralling down fast towards and the last thing I saw was a smushed funnel cake as my skull collided into the pavement.
