Extend the Story - Add a Room

Leading him into the main kitchen of the mansion, Sakuya presented the basics of where everything was in the area. Despite the lack of electric technology, there were still plenty of resources for a chef to use in cookery.

"Eeeh?" Koakuma had followed them into the kitchen, curious about the new person in their presence. "Why is the chubby guy making a late night snack?"

"We're seeing if he has any talents worthy of use. He claims he is skilled in cookery, so we are asking him to cook." Patchouli looked on at the explanations Sakuya was giving Ken. "Even if he isn't skilled, he'll still give the Mistress and her sister a good meal."

"Awww, don't kill him!" The devilish girl whined. "I wanna have some fun with him!" A hand was clamped over her mouth shortly after from her superior.

"Do be quiet." Patchouli scolded. "The human is about to start."

"So, now you have the basics sorted." The always elegant maid noted. "Please, show us your culinary work."

"Okay, I'll get working..." Though he was still trying to wrap his head around the whole situation, he understood that if he was able to cook a quality set for the girls, he'd at least get in their good books.

All three females watched in anticipation as Ken got started with his cooking. Using the ingredients at his disposal, he worked on roasting meat, chopping vegetables and kneading dough. The moment he was done with one task, he moved right onto the next. His speed and swiftness was surprising for his chubby frame, seemingly no factor in the effort he put in. Aromas soon filled the air, a short preview of just what kinds of meals he was intending to make.

"Sakuya...you did make sure to check that meat, right?" Patchouli asked, somewhat nervous.

"What would be the matter with it Miss Patchouli?" Sakuya responded, confused at what possibly could be the matter.

"Well, we have both animal meats and meats that the Mistress...enjoys. She enjoys her own from less reliable sources..."

"Oh, I see what you mean now." Sakuya waved her hand and smiled. "Not to fear, I've made sure it's not that kind of meat. I run a perfect shift in this household." However, the confidence Patchouli had in her statement didn't last long. "Besides, a little cannibalism never hurt anyone."

Late into the night, Ken cooked away, While Sakuya stayed wide awake to keep a sharp eye on him, Patchouli and Koakuma had begun snoozing away, both lying face down on a table. Their slumber didn't last long, as they were woken by an announcement.

"I've finished my creations." Ken took a seat and rested, clearly worn out from excessive cooking.

The silver haired girl looked down at the cooking area. He had certainly outdone himself, with a full spread of meals on display. Roast dinners of beef and vegetables were common on the table. Pork inside pastry was also very prominent. Skewers in shish kebab style piled on top of each other. Specific parts of meats were focused upon, with plates of bacon strips and bowls of chicken legs. It was grand feast which surprising the girls.

"Oh wow....it all looks so good!" Koakuma was near salivating at the foods before her.

"It certainly is a vast amount..." Patchouli noted. Her stomach roared in anticipation.

"Let's just hope it lives up to expectations." Moving over, Sakuya took a part of the huge spread and sampled it's flavour.

It tastes... meh.
