Extend the Story - Add a Room

Rubbing her temple with one hand, the young elegant maid that was Sakuya Izayoi entered the grand library. Known for her expertise in housekeeping, which ranged from cooking, to cleaning, to dealing with unwanted guests in the mansion, she was also known for her abilities with time itself, being able to slow down and speed up pockets of time, which was handy for growing crops amongst other things. Plus, the time powers allowed her to also stop the flow of time itself, leaving all but herself frozen in place, which proved very handy during combat situations.

Still wearing her usual blue and white maid uniform, symbolising she was still working at such a late hour, she covered her mouth to block a yawn as she approached the magician and the young man she had whisked to her quarters.

"Miss Patchouli, what are you doing at such an hour? I heard a great fuss from upstairs so I came down to see what was going on." Sakuya gave a glance upwards. "Thank goodness you didn't wake the mistress, she gets in a foul mood when she doesn't get enough sleep." Soon, her eyes laid sight to Ken, who was still dumbstruck at the whole experience. "Oh, this is an unfamiliar face. Mind explaining who this fellow is?"

"He tells me his name is Ken." The purple haired girl slowly made her way back over to her reading desk. "Seems he was brought here when I was trying to conjure up a new familiar. As you can see...." Another finger pressed into Ken's pudgy belly, earning a yelp from him. "....he is not prime familiar material."

Sakuya nodded, staring intently at Ken as he rubbed his gut in hopes of soothing the painful poke he received. "Yes, I can see that clearly. As expected of someone from the outside world. I can tell from his clothes." She walked over to Ken, continuing her glare over him as she circled around his wide body. "Tell me Miss Patchouli, does he claim to be skilled in any fields?"

"He did inform me that he has a profession as a chef, so the male has knowledge of cookery." The magician rubbed her weary eyes, readjusting her hat as well.

A small smile then crept onto Sakuya's face, a glint appearing in her sapphire eyes. "Perhaps this man could be of some use to us...."
