Although you are tempted in that moment to follow her, you bear with the desire. Turning around, you show your back toward her, a sign of disinterest. As you hear Guenever exit the room, you face Arthur, preparing to tell him about your shameful love interest, and you hope for forgiveness. But as you confess to King Arthur, his face, rather than shocked or surprised, seems calm and understanding. In response, King Arthur proceeds to tell you that he already knows of your affinity toward his wife. He reveals that you and Guenever are prophecy bound to intervene in his own marriage. In shock, you decide to leave the castle to pursue a quest, hoping that space and distance from Guenever will weaken the prophecy. Although it is outside of your knowledge, you have started a long cycle of love and distrust between you, Arthur and Guenever.
