Extend the Story - Add a Room

As the time approaches midnight, the hooded man decides to set up camp for the night. He had been traveling all day, since sun-up, and needing the rest. Beneath the bridge overpass, connecting the towers, the man walks up to the edge of the left side tower, lays his knapsack on the ground against the tower, then presses his back against it also, slowly lowering himself to the ground. It isn't perfect he thinks, but it will have to do. No sense traveling in the dark. Who knows what creatures may be out there, and it's hard enough watching where your feet land without having to keep an eye and ear out for wild beasts.
Looking at his knapsack, he grabs it with both hands, undoes the clip holding it closed, and checks to see his provisions. He notices he is running low on food and drink, and his fire provisions are no longer. He closes the knapsack, sits it down next to him, and he sits there, beginning to shake from the cold. He is not going to be able to camp the night. Not without supplies to make a fire. He tells himself he would be better off continuing towards a town nearby if there is one, and risking the journey rather than sitting where he sits, freezing to death overnight. Before he could move however, he hears a voice from above.
'Are you sure you saw somebody walking through here?'
A womans voice.
'Yeah, boss. 'E were all black 'n things. Like one of 'em book people that ya readses in a book,' replied a man.
'He looked like a character from a book? Lyle, quit the Yumja.'
'But me has, boss. I hasn't had Yumja in a week.'
'If I find my supply of Yumja gone, Lyle, I will kill you. As for this "Man in black", he doesn't seem to exist Lyle. I don't see him. Do you?'
'Well... no boss, but...'
'Then get back to your POST!' interrupted the woman.
'If you waste my time with your nonsense again, I will also kill you.'
'Aye, boss.'
The conversation ended. The hooded man could hear footsteps above. He knew there were two people above in the tower, and there was a bridge overhead. He needed to figure out where they were, how many there are, and if he was in danger. It looks like the mans needed rest had just been put on hold.
