Mr. Matthews and You
"Thank you, you too." you reply. Before he gets into the truck you decide to take a leap. "Could I.. maybe get your number?" you inquire. He looks to you and seems puzzled before shrugging.
"Alright," he says and you pass him your phone. He inputs his number into your phone before passing it back.
"Matthews?" You read aloud. "Two first names?"
He chuckles and nods. "Ah, yes. Two first names. Well, I must really go. I'll look forward to your contacting me."
"Goodbye, William Matthews," you say and step away.
"Goodbye," he replies and climbs into his truck. You set about your errands with a happy smile.
