You decide you very much do not want to have to suffer through an awkward confrontation and you skip out, pushing your way out of the patio gate and you dip behind a large planter. The man doesn't say anything as he passes you, allowing you to believe he hadn't quite seen you. Congratulations, however, as other people are not so kind. You leave to accomplish your errands, feeling embarrassed and your coffee doesn't taste so good any longer.
