Period 5 HSA

It created new scientific ideas that were taken up by people in hopes of change. The Enlightenment encouraged change and development in the French revolution. It did this by radically changing France’s form of government, ideology, views on the church, and its political and social values in society. To be specific the ideas of the "philosophes," which was written during the Enlightenment period, heavily influenced the Constitution that was written by the revolution members.
