You decide to turn back to the village, and hope that your fellow farmers will return soon. The days pass by, turning into weeks and months, and yet your friends still have not returned. Word spreads among the farmers that those who left joined up with other farmers and rebelled against the monarchy, the king, and the broken system, with the first attack of the political fortress of Bastille. You also hear that King Louis XVI has been executed, along with his wife Queen Marie Antoinette. You continue farming the land and tending to your crops, even as turmoil broods all around.
