Most labs will require some kind of proof that you are qualified to work in a lab however you might get lucky. That being said, the easiest path to becoming a lab technician is moving to and living in states that DON'T require licensing. In those states you could apply to the lab directly with or without training and hope for the best. You can also go to a vocational school and get a certificate that can be used to help you get a job in a lab.
