C0m3 and Pl@y
You decide it's better to be safe than sorry, and hide in a place that you know he definitely not waiting for you in. You squash yourself under the small desk. You seem to be hidden sufficiently by the desk.
"I am coming." booms a voice, from above the desk. It takes all your willpower to not cry out in fright at the sudden statement.
You hear footsteps go around the desk, walking away from it.
Suddenly, they stop.
The footsteps start again.
They're getting closer.
They're getting louder.
Now they're even closer.
The man is so close you can hear him breathing slowly.
Suddenly, the sounds stop.
You wait for a few minutes, but there are no more noises.
You look out from under the desk, around the room, wiping a bead of sweat off your forehead. Suddenly, you feel a cold pair of hands grab your shoulders viciously. You are lifted off your feet, and slammed onto the desk you hid under. Blood trickles from a gash in the back of your head, and your sight grows blurry. As your eyes focus again, you realize you are face to face with the man.
You feel a sudden spike of unbearable pain shoot through you, all the way through your body. When the pain reaches your head, everything goes black. Before you fade away, you hear the voice make one more statement.
"I win."
