Extend the Story - Add a Room

Lonley Little Boy by Lovinthemstories
You go for the great escape. Your going to runaway from home. You have to go to your room first. It's just like it always has been. Small but empty with a bed and bookcase against the wall. In the back right corner is a small broken rocking chair. There is a wooden lamp on top of the bookcase, which is as tall a you, but only houses about 12 books. All of which you have read about a thousand times. You have came to the conclusion that Tommy's dad will all ways die of a over dose. You have almost nothing to pack. You aren't aloud to have anything put you have a stash. You slowly push aside the bookcase. You hear it creak it must be older that my self you think. It has to be at least ten years old. You don't know your exact age but you now your nine or ten. The bookcase creaks again and you jolt to a stop. You don't want someone to come barging in. You aren't aloud to move furniture. As soon as you stop the lamp on top of the bookcase flies off the top and land on the floor with a bang. It's broken you know it but you don't want to look at it. Finally, you work up the courage and look. The neck is broken and the light bulb is shattered. Your only means of light is now a small window right above your bed. You look around with freedom so close you realize how dank this place really is. It's gloomy, cold, and wet. You live in a cell you thing a jail cell. Just like Tommy's mother did. You draw your attention back to the lamp and wonder what to do?
Fix the neck of the lamp with duck tape and set it back on the bookcase.
