Extend the Story - Add a Room

PROJECT: Absum by Hysterics
Nothing like remembering you're a twelve year old boy.

"Emmett." you tell him, and he nods. "What's your name?"

You can't go asking for people's names and not tell them yours, can you?

"Rhys." was his simple response.

Okay, names. Good. This was progress. Progress was good. You liked progress.

"Do you know why we're here?" you ask, moving the collar of your shirt, only to realize, a bit of a weight on your neck. Your fingers trail upwards, only to find that there is a thick tube or contraption of sorts, stiff against the skin of your neck. You grasp at it, surprised. When did that get there?

Rhys only watches you have a tiny panic attack, pulling at the... whatever it is around your neck. "Calm down, I've got one as well." he stated, pointing to the thing on his neck, which glowed black. The number seventeen seemed to be written on one side of it, in thin, white lettering.

"What are they?" you ask, still fiddling with the one on your neck. The fact that he had one as well seemed to help a little, but it didn't change the fact that you had no clue what it was and frankly didn't want it attached to you until you did. Rhys merely shrugged.

"You tell me."

You didn't respond, but instead, pointed at your own, instead of pulling at it once more.

"What number does mine say?"

Rhys stared for a moment before responding with,"Sixty-eight."

Isn't that what the Game Master called you before? Subject 68? Rhys interrupts your thoughts.

He did seem intrigued by that question, asking it himself, to which you promptly told him the answer to.

"Seventeen, hmm..." he repeated, eyes finally leaving you and moving to the floor.

Oh. Looks like his temporary self induced thinking time gives you a chance to ask yet another question. What would you like to ask him?
"Do you have to go pee too?"
