Your cowardice gets the best of you and you run from the area, hoping Bailey can fight them off himself. As you make your way down the trail you look back for a moment to see if Bailey is behind. You smack into a tree with your gaze averted, and stumble to the jungle floor.
The buzzing is all around you. As you stand up to begin running again, a sharp pain stabs you in the back. One of the bugs has landed on you, draining you of blood. You can feel it being swiftly sucked from your body. An awkward feeling. You can't reach it on your back so you hit the ground with your back, crushing the bug.
But more have arrived, and swarm your fallen, weakened body. The needles of the giant mosquitoes penetrate multiple points on your body, quickly draining your blood. Your screams of agony are muffled from the incessant buzzing. Raoul and the other do not return for your drained corpse. Your body becomes one with the jungle.
