The Tale of Abigail

Abigail runs and runs, because her life depends on it. After an hour, she arrives at Sophie's house, and knocks on the door. However, there is now reply. Finally, she breaks into the house and realizes, with a horror, that all that is left of Sophie and her family are there rotting corpses.

Before she can wonder who did this, however, she looks down to see the tip of a knife emerging from her stomach.

"I didn't run fast enough," is her last thought before she falls to the ground, dead.
