Extend the Story - Add a Room

The thing that appeared was not something you would have expected: a humanoid figure dressed in a red-and-gold medieval jester's outfit. It-he?-looked like a skinny but pot-bellied human male, about five and a half feet tall. His face was thin and pointy, and had a very large nose. Half of his face was chalk-white, the other jet-black. The creature wasn't speaking-his mouth wasn't open, just contorted in an exaggerated smile, but quiet giggles suddenly filled the air. After they died down, the jester-Aposteos-Mordial-spoke.

"Oh yes, the old forms are the best. This one represents chaos and whimsy so well. If only mortals could see my true image and remains sane. Oh well. Now, let us begin our little adventure. Please walk over to the simulacrum of your future mate, Ms. Dough, and inspect her appearance. Then look over the traits listed on the podium and decide which you will select to change first. That is when the fun wil begin."

Anger starts to well up in you, along with the fear you felt earlier. Who is this ridiculous being to subject anyone to this insanity. But whatever Aposteos-Mordial is, the thing is obviously powerful.
