Extend the Story - Add a Room

The sound of footsteps began again, but slowly faded away as the person walked into the distance. The girl was gone from the door.

Jun sat in silence with her eyes on the floor. The air seemed to hang heavily with feelings of loneliness and a tinge of sadness. The feeling of guilt for not answering the door to an obvious friend, or possibly an acquaintance at the very least, made Jun's heart feel a little tense.

She looked up a few moments later, noticing the clock. She would have to take the bus to school to get there on time, or risk being late.
