Extend the Story - Add a Room

You ride for what seems like hours, not seeing any other sign of life. Life in Kansas Territory has been hard for you and your family, but you are strong and know how to do the basics. You find a large river and decide to follow it for a few miles. It's always good to stay near water, especially when you are alone. A few miles down the river, is a fort; Fort Kearny to be exact. Nevertheless it is a protected area and you could stay the night there if you needed to.
