Extend the Story - Add a Room

That night you dress into some casual spacer clothes and hit the nightlife scene of Cathala City. The upper levels of the city are pretty quiet and dark but the lower terraces and the ground level are booming. Many people parade the streets and if you didn't know any better, you would've thought there was a festival going on. But as Bao told you earlier, that's just how Weyans live.

You enter The Knife and proceed to the bar. You immediately take in your surroundings and identify seventeen people in the bar, all of them Weyans. Not the best place for you to fit in but you suppose it'll have to do. The bartender gives you a look suggesting he also isn't used to seeing non-Weyan customers in his tavern but he shows a friendly smile all the same.

"What'll it be for ya?" he asks.

"I'll take a drop of your finest," you say, feeling a little reckless since you know you can put this all on the U.G. dime. The bartender fixes you up and gives you a drop glass filled with a smoky brown liquid. You are about to drink it when a Weyan man with a beard next to you laughs.

"Bottoms up," he says. "I don't normally see many humans drinking Fire Sap."

"Is that what this is?" you ask him. "I'm a seasoned traveler, I like going to new places and trying their native drinks."

"I see," he says. "Well, what brings you out to Weyah?"

You sip some of your drink and while it is very strong, you find it has a rich agreeable aftertaste. The Weyan man looks impressed.

"I'm actually here visiting an old friend of mine," you tell him. "He's really involved with this group called the Rakkers. I don't know if-

You stop as you see the changed expression on the man's face. "Did I say something?" you ask.

He shakes his head. "No, nothing. It's just...what did you say your friend's name was?"

"His name is Pokka," you tell him. "Pokka Jonkin. Do you know him?"

The man's eyes dawn with registration but he does not reveal it. "Pokka-Pokka Jonkin?" he stutters. "How is that possible?"

"If you want to know, meet me out back in five minutes," you tell him. You then leave the bar area after downing the rest of your drop.

Don't appear but see where he goes after.
