Extend the Story - Add a Room

"Alright, I'll allow you to place me into custody but after I get contact from my HQ, this is going to be a very embarassing situation for you," you tell the Pohjan.

The man snickers and speaks something in his native tongue to a guard, who grunts with laughter. Two Tro'un police step up behind you and place a pair of binds on you. The material instantly touches your skin and wraps around your wrists tightly. A team of robots approach your ship and immediately begin to scan the interior.

"Hey!" you exclaim. "You have no right-

"You have no idea what your rights are here, do you?" the Pohjan interjects. "Universal Rangers, young, naive, don't think I haven't met one of you before. Back when I used to oversee the mining on Covo, a Ranger not unlike yourself showed up under the premise that we were dealing with illegal minerals. We weren't and the man left feeling a fool. Do not think that because you're from the Government that I care at all."

You walk away with the guards, feeling lost for words.

Two hours later, you have been processed and are now sitting inside a small jail cell in Baraza. You don't have any of your equipment in which to connect to the Net. There is no way for you to make contact with anyone and you're sure your contact you were supposed to meet has left the club by now. Damn, this is not how you were expecting your first mission ever to go!

You watch the guards walk by and deposit a Beehn man into the cell opposite you. He is a short, amphibious individual with pertruding eyes that remain in a perpetual squint. His clothes are dirty and he gives off a very rusty cough every few moments. After remaining in silence for a while, you decide to try and talk to him.

"Hey, do you speak Human?" you ask him through the lasers.

He looks at you and coughs. He then doesn't say anything for a while but then replies "Yeas."

"What's your name?" you ask him.

"Jerwull," he croaks.

You tell him your name and then ask how he got to where he is.

"Don' worry yer head aboul it." he says and then sits down with his head folded into his hands.

A couple hours later you are attempting to get some rest. You hear the Beehn man croak for your attention. Standing up, you look at him in question.

"My bud is about to get me outta hurr," he says. "You in?"

"What do you mean?" you ask him.

"I got hurr fer a reason. Can't tell now. Either you go with me or yer stayin hurr."

Before you can answer, you hear a blast from outside. A guard runs past and the Beehn man juts his foot between the narrow laser beams, tripping the guard. The guard falls and his arms lands right into the laser beam, searing him immediately. He screams and another guard runs by. Seeing the mess, he takes out his blastrifle and aims it at both of you. He presses a switch and your laser bars disappear.

What do you do?

Dive under him and grab his legs.
