After a massive crash, you stumble out of the ships hidden compartment, with a few scrapes and bruises, you don't seem to be too severly injured. The smugglers don't seem to be in the ship you notice and you begin to wonder if perhaps you were knocked unconcious for a bit due to the crash. Walking toward the ramp door you notice that it no longer exists as there is now a massive hole in the ship, jagged metal jutting around the truck sized hole. Looking outside the frigate you see you have landed in a grass field on an oxygen rich world, dense jungles are nearby, as well as foreboding mountains looming in the distance. You laugh as this has to be the luckiest pair of smugglers of all time as they punch in a random escape route on their nav charts and end up NOT destorying the ship and land on a lush jungle world capable of sustaining life.
You jump through the hole into the long grass, but you stumble and fall over. You feel dizzy, maybe the crash messed you up more than you think, better not exert yourself too much you think.
"What in the world!" You hear Estevon shout. The 2 smugglers are only a couple feet away from you as you make your stumbling exit from the ship. They turn toward you and for once you get a good look at them.
Estevon is tall and tan, wearing protective goggles and has a clearly well maintained feathered hairstyle. Rex is short, white and bald, a bit overweight, with a long braided beard and tribal tattoos on half of his face.
They both are about as injured as you are with minor cuts and scrapes. Rex draws his laser pistol upon seeing you. Estevon looks back at Rex then approaches you, hand on hip, mouth agape, suprised he had a stow away on board.
"You better explain yourself quick stow away! Are you the one who led the hunters to where we were?"
"No...no." You reply, still on the ground, "I was just being a damn fool, I was interested in your ship, I kinda have a knack for exploration..."
You go on to explain that you are a former G.A. captain and that you had nothing to do with their misfortune, but that you just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
"Makes sense Estevon." Rex begins, lowering his pistol. "Sneaking onto our ship means he's a moron, but he didnt give our position to the hunters, otherwise he'd be sacrificin' himself while they got at us."
Nodding Estevon stares at you through gleaming goggles, "Ok...Captain..looks like you are having a stroke of bad luck, but now we are in this situation together so you got to do everythin you can to help us out. Consider it payment for the free ride."
"Anything to help guys, Ive been trained for scenarios like this. First thing is to find out where we are then call for assistance."
Rex pulls you up from the ground, "Well Mr. Darkblade, all our computers are shot. The old girl is no more than scrap metal at this point."
"Ok then we have to get some sort of power to the ships computer just to find out our current location, we wouldnt need much, just enough to start up one of the computers for maybe 5 minutes."
Estevon chimes in, "All our communications are disabled and battered to hell. If we do find out where we are, there is no way we are able to repair our communications."
Your emblem communicator would remedy that, you go to grab at it on your uniform but you see its been torn away. Must be on the ship somewhere.
"I can contact my ship with my emblem communicator, but it's on the ship somewhere, were gonna have to go find it."
"YOU can go find it captain. Rex and I are going to go put out the fires on the ship so we can have some sort of secure shelter."
While Rex and Estevon put out the numerous fires on the ship, you search for your communicator, finding it in the hidden compartment quite easily. It doesnt seem to be working at the moment, but its a hardy piece of equipment, you're sure its just a loose wire you can repair easily later on.
After putting out the fires, you assist the smugglers in finding one of the hyperspeed engine energy reactors to power up the computer. You wire the power to the computer but because of all the damage, Rex tells you it might be a day or two until they can extract enough power from the reactor to power on the computer even for a couple minutes.
The three of you have a relativley peaceful day and night on the unknown world, staying close to the ship, you talk about past adventures with eachother, having a couple good laughs. When morning comes you realize because of the many holes and tears in the ship, it is not a suitable shelter. You tell Estevon and Rex, they agree.
Rex also raises the concern that there is no food and that eventually you will all starve. It's now early morning so you have all day to do whichever task you decide. Either way you will have to enter the nearby jungles, but if you build the shelter you wouldnt have to go as deep in as you would if you went looking for food.
